Girl Friday: Garden Of Dreams

When I was a child I was a big sweet-tooth. Who wouldn't? But I was not able to eat sweets. I had a health issue that draw me away from chocolate, sweet desserts and so much more great things. If I start thinking about it there wasn't much available in stores on that time. But all this didn't stop me from dreaming. And I dreamt big! Most of all I dreamt of sweet things.

As we lived in Tallinn we watched so much Finnish TV channels where there were so many delicious advertisements of sweets. For example I remember how Snickers chocolate was chipped in slow motion and you were educated in detail what exactly that chocolate contains. And of course those ads where house wife in the mornings opens the fridge and pours milk on Corn Flake's. And last, but not least, Magnum ice cream. Those chocolate covered advertisements of  Magnum I watched with big eyes and asked my mother why we can't go to shop and buy it. Mother told me that we don't have that kind of ice cream in shops... Similar dialogue took part several times. Until our family moved to Germany for a while. I still remember my first Magnum - of course I chose double chocolate ice cream that was too sweet to me and half of the ice cream I had to give my father to finish (not that I couldn't do that myself) ...  It is always great to look back and remember my dreams. Even those that stood by my childhood. This post I dedicate to all little dreamers.
